Nadal had lost only one match in his life, in Miam’ final 2005 vs Federer, after leading 2 sets to love. Never in Slams. He had won 22 Us Open Matches of the last 23. The only loss came with Djokovic in the US Open finals in 2011. Nadal won the US Open twice, 2010 and 2013, didn’t participate in 2012 and 2014. One thing to reflect on is: after a decade of Federer-Nadal fights, almost everybody would have thought that if the duopoly would have ended it would have happened because of Federer getting older. Instead while Nadal for the first year in 10 years has not won any Slam, Roger seems almost getting better and better. And if there will not be another clash between the two on a Slam, it is Nadal’s disappearance and nto the long time predicted Federer’s one.
