Katerina Siniakova and Sem Verbeek beat Luisa Stefani and Joe Salisbury 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-3) to win the mixed doubles title at Wimbledon.

Both players held on their serve en route to the tie-break. Verbeek and Siniakova raced to a 5-1 lead in the tie-break. Salisbury and Stefani won two rallies to claw their way back to 3-5, but Verbeek and Siniakova sealed the tie-break 7-3 as Stefani’s volley dropped long.

Verbeek and Siniakova broke serve in the third game to take a 2-1 lead. Salisbury and Verbeek broke back to draw level to 4-4. Siniakova sealed the win with a overhead smash on the first match point.

Siniakova added this title to her collection that includes to her 10 Grand Slam women’s doubles title (seven with Barbora Krejikova, two with Taylor Townsend and one with Coco Gauff), the Olympic gold medal in the mixed doubles with Tomas Machac in Paris 2024 and the Olympic title in the women’s doubles gold medal with Barbora Krejcikova. This year she teamed up with Taylor Townsend to win the women’s doubles title at the Australian Open. Siniakova and Townsend will play in the women’s doubles semifinals on Friday.

Verbeek and Siniakova won their first Grand Slam mixed doubles title.

“It’s very special. It means a lot. We had a lot of fun on the court. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for playing with me, Sem. It was really an amazing time here. To be back on the Centre Court with this atmosphere, it’s always amazing. I’m just really happy I could be here again”, said Siniakova.
